My photo
is where I love to be! No matter the location, I use each shoot to tell a little of the story behind your family, and simply to capture beautiful photographs that you will love forever. Photography is my all encompassing passion ~ I feel very privileged that it allows me to share in a day in the life of you and your loved ones just hanging out and having a bit of fun! What a job.

Four Generations

This shoot was a real honour to capture. One of Little Love's favourite families was back (see http://bloglittlelovephotography.blogspot.com/2010/05/up-in-air-i-fly.htm for last year's session) but this time they had an extra two generations in tow. Grandma G and Great Grandma G were the very welcome additions to this family portrait where ages ranged from a supercute 10 months to a very gentle, and particularly lovely, 94 year old. So many combinations to photograph made for a busy shoot especially when Horace The Dog joined in. Grandpa's roses and old clothes basket also featured making for some lovely shots of real sentiment. Add one pair of perfect brown eyes and one pair of brilliant blueys and we've got ourselves a pretty special family album. Nice work R's!

Young Love

Young Love. A&M are full to the brim with it. You just have to hear the proposal story to know these two are for real. R-E-A-L. But so relaxed at the same time..Must Have Shots? Don't have any. Particular angles? Don't care. Whatever I like? Whatever you like! they say. Yipee! Location was perfect, weather was fine and enthusiasm was sky high. Our beautiful bride appears and we get Groom Tears straight up ~ off to a flying start! A few more tears and a lot more laughs saw A&M announced as husband and wife 31 levels up looking over perfect Sydney. Congratulations Mr & Mrs K!

Little Mermaids

Little Love got a little bit lucky this week with a family of three particularly adorable girls fronting up for pics. Full of beans and perfect poses, Miss I, M and E delivered the goods for at least two hours of non-stop photography. Throw in a few accessories and it got even better, after all sparkles and tulle never fail.. Mum and Dad have trained them well ~ even sitting in the waves in slightly soggy tutus looked cuuute!  Great work Cookies!

Those Big Brown Eyes

Back to good ol' proper kids photog this week. It was another warm morning but beautiful models in a beautiful house gave us lots of great photo opps. Stairwells, doorways, bunk beds, courtyards and buckets were all put to good use resulting in a lovely collection of pics. The best features were, of course, those two sets of big brown eyes and dark, dark eyelashes from Mr O and Little Miss J. Too cuuuuuute. A busy morning for all involved but definitely worth the hard work ~ well done everyone!

Lucky in Love

This week's blog involves another story of Grown Up Love!
Of course, there was a very cute two year old heavily involved in the proceedings but lots of extra focus was on Mum & Dad as they tied the knot in front of their family and friends.
Despite the grey skies there was plenty of bright colour wherever this bridal party went with our Beautiful Bride in red and sparkles with a flowergirl to match. We had the privilege of capturing their very special "First Look" before it was down to the local beach for some undercover fun. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. One thing is for sure.. no luck is needed here. Congratulations L&B!!

Summer's Love

Oh weren't we in for a big one! A day of big excitement, big temperatures but most obviously big leeeeerve. It was the day when H. was to take his bride-to-be C, into his arms for better or worse, richer or poorer. And My, What a bride-to-be! More beautiful than any English Rose, C glowed ALL DAY LONG. The searing heat (yes, it was that Saturday) could not wilt her or her happiness at becoming the New Mrs R. Throw in a couple of impressive locations, namely some very cool (in both senses) underground tunnels and a magical wedding album was in the bag...yay! Congratulations C&H!!!!!

Big Splashing Fun!

I would say 95% of Little Love's shoots are fun. Some, I admit, can be a little on the challenging side, but mostly they are fun. This week's Feature Family, however, absolutely take the cake. I could have photographed them all day long, two hours just wasn't enough! Not only are they a ridiculously good looking bunch but they were all soooo lovely and genuinely like each other, yes even the kids! I'd turn around and two would be hugging, others laughing, kissing or just swinging hands. So throw this perfect family onto the perfect backdrop (one of Sydney's best kept secrets) and what do you know? We have a REALLY GOOD SHOOT. Really good and Really fun. Pleasure was all mine, and not just because I was the only dry one left standing..
